ABOUT YEMMIGANUR

Yemmiganur is an ever-developing town, known for handlooms, Cooperative Societies and the pioneer of the cooperative movement in the Rayala Seema region of Andhra Pradesh.late Sri Machani Somappa one of the first Padmasree awardees.The famous pilgrim centre Mantralayam, situated on the banks of the Tunga Bhadra River is its neighbour.

VYSHNAVI COLLEGES

Vyshnavi Colleges have been taken over by the Gadige Dakappa Shanthamma Educational Society to impart high quality education to students, with special attention to those with rural background and those from rather less educated families.

To make our country strong economically, morally and spiritually, which can inspire the other nations to make our earth a livable planet in its true sense, through modern education blended with our heritage and culture, which are full of human values propagating "Sarva Manava Soubhatrutvam" i.e., universal brotherhood.

To bring out the inherent& latent talents in students and develop them for the benefit of the society, To make the students self-disciplined, self-respecting, self-dependent, self-confident, service oriented and society conscious, To equip the students fully, with the necessary armors to face and overcome the challenges jutting out day after day in the modern world, To teach perseverance that anchors them to the righteous path and leads them to success. Not only to give the most sought-out job seekers but also to give job providers and administrators to the nation.

3 years have passed after the taking over of the colleges by the Gadige Dakappa Shanthamma Educational Society. As the chairman of the society, I am committed to the development of our student . I wish our students should become healthy both physically and mentally, knowledgeable, helping, cooperative, leading, team spirited and the virtuous citizens of our nation, who keep its flag exemplary, ever flying high.
There are many people in the world, who rose to the top though they were average or less than average as students. As such, the rank in the exams is not the true measuring rod to judge a student. How ever, I submit that our students are not behind in getting ranks too. I proudly announce that we find our old students in considerably top positions but still obedient and humane.

I am happy to mention that our colleges have been enjoying the "year by year" growing trust of students and parents. This trust instills hope and optimism about the future of both the students as well as that of Vyshnavi Colleges, Yemmiganur. It makes me recollect
We, the management and the teaching & the nonteaching staff of our colleges, rededicate ourselves, in letter and spirit, to strive continuously for the personality development of our students to match the needs of the hour. Abundance of knowledge, that gets you showers of encomiums, is waiting for you in this campus. It is up to you how much you acquire and utilize it.

Why Vyshnavi College:

As the 21C unfolds in all its uncertainties, the challenges in the corporate world are getting higher and tougher day by day. Educational Institutions, especially degree are not far from this crisis; in fact they are in the very crux of the entire gamut of a huge responsibility in developing able degree holders to meet these challenges. Needless to say, today's degree holders are more recognized by their ability to perform under dynamic conditions. The need of the hour is, therefore, to lay a strong foundation & evolve innovative process that will prepare these degree holders of the future to be able to excel in the realm of degree streams in the new millennium.
